Yes, it was. It had been partitioned since it was twice as big as the HD. I forgot to change it back when a new larger HD was put in the MacBook, which finally was using up enough space to cause the problem. Now it's all back to equal size to the HD and SuperDuper ran perfectly. Thanks!
