Is all cool with 10.4.2?
Hey, Dave and SD gang!
Just wanted to do a quick check-in to verify that SD is good to go with 10.4.2. Hoping for an "affirmative." And, Dave, if you’re in Beantown for MW, get some good "authentic" deli food while you’re there, if only for me, as I can now verify that there is not a good corned beef sandwich to be found in Vegas. Other stuff? Oh, sure, that can found easy here... |

Yep, it's all good to go with 10.4.2.
I'm in Beantown all the time -- I live about 12 miles away!

I noticed over in Macintouch's 10.4.2 discussion that there's a report that the Apple Disk Utility / Restore program has changed between 10.4.1 and 10.4.2.
In 10.4.1, you could make a bootable restore partition using Disk Utility (I've been able to do this). According to the report, this capability has been disabled (or disappeared) in 10.4.2. Glad I purchased SuperDuper! |

I saw that, and found it rather strange... I can't think of what they might have changed in a low-level copy that would cause the result to not boot!
