Can't restore

I have used my SuperDuper backup on my fire drive for a few months. It backs up fine.

I have had problems tho' and wanted to do a restore.

I booted from the firewire drive and got into OSx fine - launched disk utility to do restore - it umms and argghgs for an hour then pops an error message.

I'll post that later.

Any ideas?

BTW - it a white macbook 2gig RAM.
