Snow Leopard Upgrade

Hi All,

Just wondering what the best way to upgrade to snow leopard would be? I have a clone of my current system and want to know if I can do a fresh install of Snow Leopard then restore from my clone prior to the OS update with out downgrading the OS files. My main concern is keeping all my application. If anyone could help with this it would be greatly appreciated.

The best way is to just upgrade to Snow Leopard. Of course, make a full backup (and test it) before you do so...

I would do a clean install on a freshly formatted hard drive then migrate your data and apps from your cloned drive for maximum compatibility but Snow Leopard is still buggy and alot of us who upgraded early are waiting desperately for 10.6.2 update which has fixes for over 500 problems! So i would stick to Leopard until the new update comes out !

I don't think there's any real 'proof' that 'maximum compatibility' is going to be obtained through a clean install. You can *always* clean install later, should you find your upgrade inadequate.
