Cannot boot from external firewire drive
I have used SD! for a few months with my Aluminum iMac running Tiger with good results. I connected a LaCie firewire to it and was able to create a bootable image. After upgrading to Leopard I am no longer able to boot from the external drive. The drive starts the booting process and goes past the spinning wheel but then gets stuck on a blue screen and nothing happens. The desktop does not get loaded.
Both drives (capacity 500 GB each) are formatted as Mac Extended with GUID partition table. Any help would be appreciated. Gianfranco |
