Quitting and icon replacement

1. I have SD automatically back up to a second internal hard drive each morning at 4am. I would like SD to not quit after it's done (so that I can see what it's done when I arrive in my office a few hours later), but SD does always quit. I have Options set to "On successful completion: Do Nothing" but SD still always quits. This has always happened, since many versions ago.

2. SD changes the unique hard drive icon on the backup drive. Is there any way to get it so that the unique icon remains?

As far as I know, SD! preserves the icon on the backup drive, and does not replace it.

If SD! is running when the schedule fires, it'll remain running when the schedule is done. Alternatively, you can install Growl, which can be set to notify you after successful or unsuccessful runs.

SD successfully opens up, backs up, and then quits. It definitely quits! Always has, even if I have it set to "Do Nothing" under the General tab in Options.

And I could take a screenshot of my hard drives, if it would help. No matter how often I change the backup icon to a unique icon, I come in each morning to see the icon changed to whatever one is on the Main drive.

I really don't know why that'd be. And yes, I know it opens, backs up and quits. But if you leave it open, it won't quit. "Do Nothing" is ignored during scheduled copies.

(No, a screen shot won't help... are you sure your schedules are running with 2.5?)

When I check About SuperDuper, it says that it's version 2.5 (v84).

Is there another way, then, to visually verify that the backup/update to the backup HD has occurred. Currently, I go to the backup HD, and open up the Desktop folder, and compare it to my current Desktop files and folders.

As I suggested: use Growl, which will tell you...
