VmWAre fusion & XP B/U
Just read previous thread where you say SD won't backup Windows and provide link for Bootcamp/XP backup.
I thought I read here? that SD DOES back up VmWareFusion and its XP.....? Maybe I was mistaken. If SD doesn't do that and obviously TimeMachine won't, can you provide me a solution/link (something - preferably not a costly program, free is even better) so I can backup the VmWare fusion XP on my iMac - I use Leopard. Many thanks as usual, tuni |

Actually, with something like VMWzre, you're usually using a disk image, which is backed up, along with your other Mac files, during a regular SD! backup.

Aha! That's what I thought I read that you said, Dave!!!: cool:
I wasn't worried about the XP b/u inVmWare because of something I thought I had read here awhile ago before I had even registered (I think). And sure enough, it wasn't a dream, it was something you said. Whew! Thought I was losing what's left of my brain it!!! Many thanks for re-assuring me that I'm o.k. (at least on this point) <LOL> tuni |
