Universal Application?
Hi, I am registered user and was wondering if you could you possibly tell me when you believe SuperDuper will be ported across as a Universal Binary?
I have a new iMac Core Duo and would like to clone my drive to a USB 2 drive, but do not know if:- 1. SuperDuper works ok in Rosetta? 2. That SuperDuper will know that it is running on a Mac that is now capable of booting using USB? 3. How well Superduper will run using emulation? Many thanks G |

Hi, G.
We're working on the Universal version. It'll be released when we've completed testing: I don't have an exact date... it's a "ready when it's done" kind of thing! As indicated in the SD! System Requirements on the main page, SD! does not work in Rosetta (which is the same as emulation). And -- SD! could always create a bootable USB volume, the system just couldn't boot from it. The new Intels can, and thus it'll "just work" when the time comes. Always nice when that happens.
