Question HELP: How do I configure a script to do a Smart Update Backup to just one folder?

Hi,

I am running my Adobe LightRoom CC 2015 catalog on an external Thunderbolt 2 drive.

This drive is running RAID 1 but to be safe I want to backup just the LR catalog folder ( BR Pictures ) and all of it subfolders using smart update so that any changes will be incorporated.

After backup the external backup drive will be disconnected for safekeeping.
Nothing but the catalog flder and its subfolders will be stored on that drive.

How do I set up SuperDuper to do this. IE: Ignore the 20 other folders on the source drive and Just do a smart BU on my LR catalog when I do a BU?

Thanks!

Include "Exclude all files" in the include tab of a script, then add what you want to copy in the command tab...

Make sense?

Exclamation Re: Help

I think it makes sense. I First exclude ALL files on the source drive and then I INCLUDE only the folder I want which will also copy all of that folder's sub folders and contents.

With this setup can the SMART update be used?

Would you have a screenshot of how the script setup should look when properly set up?

Thanks

We've done the work for you. You *include* the "Exclude all files" script. Then add the folder you want to copy. I think you'll find it quite simple once you try: I don't have a screen shot, although the User's Guide has many.
