Migration assistant from Samba drive?

Hi,

If I use SuperDuper to create a backup of my entire OSX machine (Macbook Pro, only a single HD). Can I put the image onto my WindowsXP machine, format my HD, reinstall OSX and then use 'Migration Assistant' with my SuperDuper image to get my Mac back to where it is now (i.e. all Apps, Personal Files, Settings etc.)?

The reason I ask is that I have managed to shrink my partition and want to get it back to full size without losing my apps and data and am thinking about using the above method.

Cheers,

Bram
