First time use: Possible to back up without erasing Maxtor files?
Hello,
I'm new to SuperDuper. I have an iMac and a Maxtor 4 external backup drive. I wanted to use SuperDuper for the first time, and back up everything from my iMac to the Maxtor. But I did not do it, because I noticed that this process would have erased everything on my Maxtor. ... I want to the keep files on my Maxtor. Can I use SuperDuper and back up everything on my iMac by backing it up to a folder on my Maxtor, and not erasing what's already there. Thanks very much ... MacBeginner |

Yes, MacBeginner -- see "Storing a backup alongside other files on your destination drive" in the User's Guide.
