Scheduling backup when logged out

Is there an easy way to do this? External drive would be connected, the mac is on, but the user might be logged out when SD does its thing!

This must be a common issue and wonder if there is a script to invoke to bypass this issue?

Thanks

Sorry, no: there's no supported way of doing this at present.
