SuperDuper! completes backup, yet can't access hard drive until computer reboot

SuperDuper! completes the backup, yet I cannot access the hard drive or a USB flash drive. The icons for hard drive, external FireWire drive called FireLite, and the flash drive are still locked. I can't click and open them without shutting down the computer and rebooting. It's odd cause it's only those icons. Everything else opens. I also tried the directions in this thread: http://www.shirt-pocket.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=3613
Still the problem persists. I have attached the last log in case that helps. Thanks for your assistance.

Laurence

There doesn't seem to be anything unusual in the log, and I don't see how we could do this, Laurence... does logging out and in, or relaunching Finder, work?

Will try that after the next backup and post an update. Thanks.
