Hi, "myk". Please start SD!, cancel that pop-up, select a different drive, switch back to "Backup", then quit. Next time you start, it should be the right drive.
If you install Growl (http://www.growl.info), we support it, and you can configure it for many different kinds of notification (from us and other programs). Growl notification can be persistent, if you select that option. We do stay open and show you that there's been an error in the Scheduled Copies window.
