incremental backup

I'm looking for a way for SD to make incremental snapshots, in the same manner as Time Machine [I'm running under Tiger].

And I know that you guys have pored over the descriptions of what is going to happen in various choices but it's still not clear to me.

So, which settings do I choose? this is a Filemaker server and I want daily incremental snapshots. [It's not FM Server, but FM running in peer mode].

Thanks.

This isn't something we do, actually -- see the Introduction to the User's Guide.

What you CAN do is select the "copy newer files" option under "During copy" for a similar experience. No snapshots though.

No, not really -- that's not similar, and isn't bootable. I'd recommend against that.

You can rotate more than one backup, though -- as the Introduction indicates.
