Question mirror cloning a folder

I have three FireWire drives connected to my iMac.

I want to mirror clone just the Users/Shared folder of all the three FW and the Macintosh hard drives.

Doable using SD ?

How is that done with SD ?

You can certainly copy one folder, but the result, on the destination, will be only that folder (since we're still copying a volume to another volume, just a smaller subset). Is that what you want?

Question

What i want is to be able to sign ( boot ) into any drive and have the contents of the "Shared" be the same as the last drive i was working on or any of the drives.

I use the shared folder to hold for example my CrossOver Files, Parellels files or Audio/Midi/Video files. Or sometimes just a file on hold that is neither and application or document but i want to share with my other drives that are designated for special purposes. So I have no need to "clone" the entire drive just the Shared folder.

This isn't something we do.
