BEWARE! Noob question... \:-D
I've been trying out the demo version of SuperDuper! and I'm really enjoying the plain English interface that spells out exactly what's going to happen. I have a question, however. Perhaps a dumb one.....not sure, but here goes in any event:
What's the difference between "copy new" and "copy different"? I don't necessarily want to make my source and target folders identical - I may want to automate things so that modified files/folders in my source directory get backed up to the target directory on my external raid while still keeping any files/folders in the target directory that may have been deleted from the source. So it looks to me like one of these two options (copy new or copy different) is the answer. Correct? |
