v2 scheduled backup works, but "AppleEvent" times out
I upgrading to SuperDuper! 2.0 (v75), and created a new "SmartUpdate" backup to backup my Macintosh HD drive to an external firewire drive. After creating a scheduled event to run this every morning at 3:30am, I'm now getting "Daily Backup.app, AppleEvent timed out" dialog when I check my computer every morning.
The log shows the backup was successful, and even that the app was closed on completion, as that was an extra selection I made in "general". But I still get that error. Could this be a hold over from the previous version of SuperDuper!? I took a peek at my crontab, and I do see 2 entries in there, one at 3:20am for Daily Backup.app, and one for another superduper event. Code:
20 3 * * * /usr/bin/open "/Applications/Daily Backup.app" 30 3 * * * open file:///Users/rhuk/Library/Application\%20Support/SuperDuper\%21/Scheduled\%20Copies/Smart\%20Update\%20G-Drive\%20from\%20Macintosh\%20HD\%201.sdsp/Copy\%20Job.app Any ideas what's going on? |

You'll definitely want to get rid of the old "Daily Backup" event. Do this when SD! isn't running, since it might have cached your crontab...
