Cloning/sychronising 2 powerbook G4's?

My business runs from my Powerbook G4 running OS X 1.4.11. I backup using Backup but my past experience tells me that if my main laptop crashes/breaks /is stolen there will be a significant delay before I am fully up and running again. So I want to set up one of my Powerbooks as a 'always ready' backup.
So I imagine I would clone everything onto the backup machine and then synch it everyday or so. If needs be I want to be able to pick up the backup machine and use it. Will this work with Superduper? Thanks for your help. Nick
