If Transmit Disk makes it look like a local drive, formatted as HFS+ or APFS, we can copy from it. For auto-mounting, if it's actually attached-but-not-mounted (that is, it appears as an attached disk), we would auto-mount it as a *destination*, but not as a source.

Those said, I don't think either is the case...
