File Recovery

I selected using Smart Update unaware it will erase other saved files. Any suggestions on how to recover these lost files?

I thought Smart Update will be 'smart' enough just to update the OS related files..not impressed.

Thanks, hope to hear from someone

I'm sorry to hear that you lost some files, eWills: we try to make it extremely clear what Smart Update does, and never say it'll leave other files there. In fact, we specifically say it's like erasing the drive and copying the files you've selected, but faster.

But - you can try using "Data Rescue II" from Prosoft Engineering to recover any files that you may have lost.
