I wasn't sure how to troubleshoot this. I've never had any kind of issues with SuperDuper. It's my one and only full backup of my main drive. My one clue is that it only occurs during the scheduled backup using version 2.1.1.

I just ran it again - manual backup - using the new version 2.1.2, and no crash of bfobserver. Clone of 232GB ran (smart update) between SATA drives in 13.5 minutes on my dual 2.3 GHz G5.


I did send the report to Apple. Not sure if it will get routed to the Xcode team.
