Suggested Method for Multiple Machines

I have four Apple machines in my household.

Could someone describe what would be a practical method for backing up these four machines.

I have a 750GB Iomega firewire drive that is partitioned to 4 logical drives and have done a full backup of each machine to a specific partition, but after that, I'm having trouble.

TIA

Well, the way you have it now is that you have to take the drive around to each and back it up, which isn't terribly painful, but isn't convenient.

I'd generally suggest getting a separate drive for each. That really increases convenience at a small additional cost (mitigated by the fact that the drive doesn't need to be as large, and that data that you back up is worth more than data you lose...)
