Informations required !
Hi,
I just moved over to Macintosh's world a few days ago. I heard very good comments about SuperDuper! and I have some questions about how I can use this application before buying it. In the Windows's word , I used 2 externals hards disks: one for my data and the other one for my backups. I do not want to keep data on the internal drive of my computer. I used a program of backup (image) which enabled me to make an image of the disc of my computer (internal drive) and another image of my disc of data (external drive). These two images were on my second external hard disk. The image of my internal disc was done manually, the image of my data was updated each evening. I would like to keep this structure with my new Mac and my two externals drives while also using Time Machine. Is this possible? If so, which are the stages which I must follow (and in which order) to ensure that it will be possible to properly boot from my external drive with SuperDuper if necessary ? Also, do I have to partition the external disc (backup), in how much part? Thank you very much for your assistance. I entirely rely on SuperDuper! but I would like to make the things in the good way! Thanks, gars_ |
