How much recommended storage space needed?

Hi,

I bought SD and have been using it for several months now. Feel very comfortable in case something bad happens. Just this week, I have told 3 people about SD and they are very interested. But one thing that I couldn't find in the forums was this.

If I am to SD my main internal boot drive, how much space do you recommend? Specifically, if I have a 160G main drive (and am backing up to a 500G external drive that I will partition), how big should I make the partition for the SD backup? Should I just allot 160G or should I include some overhead?

Thanks,

Paul
