Backing up TimeMachine with SD
Hi,
i know the Leopard version of SD is in the workings. this questions is rather conceptual than a problem. On my Powerbook I have limited storage for all the video and photos I edit thus i have to regularly move them to an external drive and free some internal storage. But doing it manually or with SD I usually loose track of what is where. My idea is to extend the storage of the internal drive through time machine where the deleted files live on. Obviously it's not a true backup anymore since the time machine version now hosts unique files. To get a backup of the whole thing: internal and extended (time machine) drive. I would like to use SD to backup the TM version to yet another drive to add redundancy. Does this work out? |
