SuperDuper resets permissons on external hd

Hi!

I am using smartupdate to backup my HD to an external usb drive. I donīt want other user to have access to this external drive, so I have set the permissions like:

System - Read&Write
admin - Read&Write
everyone - No Access

After superduper is done, the permissons is set to:
System - Read&Write
admin - Read&Write
everyone - Read Only

Is there a way to avoid the permission reset? Or can I set up an automatic process setting the desired permissioins on the usb drive after the backup has completed?

Thank you and best regards
Geir.

The permissions are coming from the source drive... other users are going to have access to the source, no?
