can SD ignore Vmware?

Hi,

I would like SD to ignore a certain folder, in this case the Vmware folder which contains Win XP. Is it possible?

Sure. See "Excluding a folder from a backup" linked from page 1 of the User's Guide (Help > User's Guide).
