User Interface questions

Dave,
Thanks so much for a great program.

I have two questions about the user interface.
When you hit schedule, why do you insist on creating a new schedule right away?
Why not simply show the schedule and then have buttons for creating a new schedule, editing and deleting schedules?

Also, I find that the Show Log choice from the window menu invariably shows an OLD log.
I have to go into the schedule window (and cancel the new schedule prompt) to see the latest log.

The original design had a 'new schedule' button in the schedule window, but it requires duplicating the main window interface, which we didn't (and still don't) have the time to do.

Each group of settings has its own set of logs.

User interface questions 2

Thanks Dave,

I can tell you that MANY people are very confused when the hit the schedule button. They say: "Why is it telling me I'm scheduled for 9:30, that's not the time I want."

I can understand that changes need programing time and testing, but I don't understand why you can't just display the list of schedules WITHOUT going into a "new schedule." That would be easy I would think...

As for the logs, do you agree that Show Log from the Window menu does not show the most recent log?

I'm well aware of the problems with the existing interface, Bill, believe me.
