Boot Another Mac from my iMac SuperDuper Backup?
I have used SuperDuper to back up my entire iMac system to an external USB hard drive. Then, I tested the external hard drive by booting from that disk. Everything worked perfectly ! ! !
Question: Can I take that external hard drive with my iMac full backup to another Mac (mini-mac, for example) and boot that machine from the drive? Or will hardware differences make this impossible? Thanks for your comments. 1. 24" Al iMac, Intel 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo, 3GB RAM, Leopard 10.5.2. 2. Mac Mini, 1.66Ghz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, Leopard 10.5.2 |
