deselect some directories or files for backup?
Is it possible to make a backup with SD which intentionally does not copy certain folders or directories? There are some things I am just not concerned about keeping backups. If I recall correctly (back when I used to use Carbon Copy Cloner) there was a way to select files or directories not to be copied.
If it is not presently possible to do this with SD, would it be possible to add this capability in the future? Thanks |

Yes. And there's a whole section of the User's Guide that discusses it -- "Excluding files and folders from a backup" -- linked from page 1 of the guide (Help > User's Guide).
