How To Remove Local Server?
Before I understood how netTunes works I added the iBook as a local server on my iBook. I can dismiss the local server from the netTunes list by stopping the local server in the preference pane, but how do I delete it? The option is "grayed-out" when netTunes is running on the iBook.

How do you delete... what? The preference pane? Or do you mean the server in the list? Did you add it "by hand"?

I mean the server in the list... I don't know what you mean by adding it "by hand." But at some point long ago I did add the iBook as a server so it shows up on the available server list and it doesn't show up if I disable the server in the preference pane.

Try deleting the grayed out server and then choosing "Remove Server" in the "Servers" menu...

Dave, what I meant earlier is that the delete server option in the Finder Menu Bar is grayed-out... I tried deleting the server in the netTunes window using the keyboard delete key and it did not work...

Weird. OK -- delete com.shirt-pocket.netTunes.plist in Library/Preferences (off your Home). That'll certainly do it!
