SuperDuper and DVD-Ram?

OK I'm thinking out loud here.... I was wondering since DVD-Ram works just like a hard drive, could we use SuperDuper to make a back up to a DVD-Ram burner?

OK, I get the drive next week so I'll be the guinea pig, test it out and let you know I don't see why it wouldn't work, since SuperDuper should see it as a regular (removable) hard drive.
