Advice sought
I would like to be able to use SuperDuper to make a bootable clone for both a new iMac and a MacBook Pro. To that end I am contemplating buying a single G-Technology G-DRIVE Q 750GB. Will I be able to partition the external FireWire Drive and make clones of the two computers and put them on the one drive. IF I can do this can I split it three ways to store pictures on one of the partitions.

Yes to all questions: it's no problem to partition. Use the "GUID" Partition scheme when you do so (click the "Options" button in the Partition tab).
Remember: if you store photos on the backup drive, and you don't back them up, they're not protected, right?
