DMG empty after mounting
I used SD to backup the Users folder on a PB G4 to a read-only DMG sitting on an SMB server. When I try to mount that DMG on a different Mac, it's empty. Sort of.
I have a "Users" folder, but nothing is in it. Also, the size of the DMG is the size of the backup, 13GB. Is this a permissions issue? |

If it indicates a "do not enter" sign in Finder, permissions are preventing you from looking in the folder. Otherwise, it could be that you were using FileVault, so your user files are hidden and encrypted...

No filevault, no warning sign.
Also, if I mount the image on the PowerBook where the BU was done from, it mounts fine. Just not on a Mac mini, or a MacBook Pro |

I really don't know why that would be, JR. Try Cmd-I the mounted image volume and turning ownership off to see if that helps.

Ignore ownership is already checked.
Ugh, I'm not sure what could be causing it. |

Me neither: if it's appearing right on some Macs, the data is there...
