Update an Image FAQ

Hey Dave,
I read the Update an Image FAQ, but when I went to create a sprase disk image as instructed, I am not able to create one via Disk Utility on my NAS device. It is connected to my Mac over ethernet, and I have a share on the NAS that I would like to keep my sparse disk image. How can I do this?
Mike

What happens when you try, Mike? You don't have to use the FAQ, since in 2.x you can use the "disk image..." in the destination, and tell it you want a sparse image. We'll handle the rest.

Just make sure you have permission to read/write/create on the volume, and that the NAS is formatted as something that supports >4GB volumes. Most NAS devices should be mounted with SMB, too...
