...copy to drive grayed out
SuperDuper copied/cloned my main macintosh intel hard drive ( OS SnowLeopard ) to an external FireWire drive.
Today I had troubles with my main drive and so I started up from the external FW drive and tried to copy/clone the external FW drive back to the main macintosh hard drive. Unfortunately super duper could not see the external fw drive : the copy to external FW drive was grayed out. What's with that ?

Well, if you were running from the external drive, you can't copy to the external drive, which is why it's grayed out. In this case, you'd want to copy to the internal drive, not the external drive, since you were trying to restore.
