It works great!
Friends, my Itunes app got bunged up today to the point where it was unusable. (yes, it was a user generated brain fart)
I guess I could have used Pacifist to pull a new copy from my install disc, but decided that, since I have a SuperDuper! clone copy on my FW drive, I'd just do a complete restore. (since it can be damned hard to make sure every single necessary application file is in place.) I went to disc utility and told it what to do. About 30 minutes later, Voila! My Itunes library was replaced and lacked only the one disc I had imported today. Everything else is working just fine too. It was an interesting exercise, if you will, to simulate restoring a failed hard drive. It's very comforting to know that we've picked a great back up utility! FriPilot |
