Simplest path for updating backup jobs when migrating to High Sierra
I'm assisting a friend who's been using SD to backup her Macbook Pro (an SSD model) to external drives.
She recently upgraded to High Sierra, and of course the boot drive was converted to AFPS. And, SD is reporting the source drive as not found, though the name didn't change. Makes sense, since the format was changed. What's the simplest way of updating the SD backup jobs to use the now-converted boot drive? I've seen other threads where the user wanted to convert their other drives to AFPS, but I'm hoping we don't need to do this. Rather, I'm hoping we can leave the backup drives unchanged. If I'm missing a thread where this is explained, please of course just point me there. Thanks! |
