Error Message -- Help
Hi Dave: Ok, about a week ago my SMART diagnostics indicated my internal hard drive on my i-mac G4 was failing. I always keep an up-to-date clone, made using SuperDuper so I wasn't concerned. I brought in my i-Mac and just got it back, with a new hard drive installed. I then asked SuperDuper to erase the new drive and copy all files from my external clone onto the new drive.
All worked fine for about 50 minutes when I got an error message that an error halted execution. I printed out the error log. It reads: Error: SVUclone: Error retrieving HFS meta data for /Network/Servers of type: 12. When I look at the new internal hard drive in Finder, it appears that SuperDuper copied applications, and then went to the Network folder on my clone, and that's where the error occurred. What should I do? Michael Klein |
