Backups using root user...

Hi!

I've read a few posts about backing up via the root user. This is my preferred setup, I'd love for it to backup while I'm sleeping. Otherwise I won't remember.

I've enabled the root user, installed SuperDuper on the root, set the scheduling, authenticated SuperDuper, logged out of root, and then finally disabled root.

I set this up a couple of months ago, but my auto backup has happened once or twice. I set up two schedules... one to backup and reboot for me on Mondays; then one on T,W,TH,F to backup only.

It's only backed up here and there for each schedule, and won't backup regularly... I can't figure out the pattern.

I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Sometimes I forget to logout of my admin account, and most of the time when I do logout, I frequently use fast user switching.

Is that where my problem lies? When using the root backup system, do I have to be FULLY logged out of my regular admin account for it to work? Also, is it ok for the root user to be now disabled?
