I just thought I would share a issue I ran into using a sandboxed drive, an SD

I have set up a second partition on my internal drive and created a sandbox of the main drive, I have then
booted into the sandboxed partition and gone to download the public beta of OS X Sierra, when I clicked
on the download button in the app store, nothing happened at all, no down load etc etc, so I did a bit of digging
and found that one suggestion was to “check for unfinished downloads”, in the app store, did this, I was then
prompted to sign in, which I couldn’t do, and had an error thrown at me saying I can’t login, so I dug some more
and found that because the Shared folder under users was a sym link and I used two step verification, that the down
load was never going to happen, so to work around this I copied he original “Shared” folder over and deleted the symbolic link, problem gone.
and the down load is working perfectly.
