I've turned off the firewall of this computer (iMac G4) with the same result. My MacBook Pro on the same network has no problem with Superduper and in fact runs the Update function without any problems.
I've attached 2 files:
Problem Report (Parts 1&2) - which is the report that could be sent to Apple after force quitting an app.
Console Messages - output of console messages pertaining to Superduper when the application is run and freezes.
I really don't know how to read these files. Maybe there's something in there that will point you to the problem.
