I just purchased Snow Leopard on Apple's online Apple Store. The emailed confirmation stated that it would be delivered Friday, August 28th.
I expect to take delivery Friday, but I won't install it until I hear results from earlier adopters regarding its compatibility with SuperDuper!, Adobe CS4, and Microsoft Office.
