Problem with "Backup - all files" option

I am using an aluminum iMac, with Leopard 10.5.2 and SuperDuper! 2.5 (v84).

My problem is that the "Backup - all files" option is not doing what it's description suggests it will do.

I select my entire "Macintosh HD" and select to copy to a disk image - directly onto an external LaCie drive.

Once the backup is complete, I open the image and look through my User folder, and notice that my Desktop folder is missing. All the files and folders that I stored on my desktop have not been copied across in the backup.

To be certain, I have searched for specific files on the image which should have been included in the backup, and they are not there.

This problem did not occur with earlier versions of SuperDuper that I have been using successfully with Leopard since November last year.
