Question MacHelp I/O exception(14): Bad address

I'm trying to upgrade the hard drive in my girlfriends PowerBook Titanium by doing a full copy to the new Western Digital hard drive in a Macally firewire enclosure. SuperDuper starts the copy and runs for a couple of hours, with the result being an error. Also, I notice that the numbers in "XXX of XXX files evaluated" do not match. Does this mean that SuperDuper hit this error, and stopped everything? If so, how can I get past this error? Here's the the section in the log with the error:

I thought this might be an issue with the existing hard drive or file system, so I ran the Mac Disk Utility and verified the disk. I'm not convinced that this does very much, but the Mac Disk Utility seemed to think everything was fine. Is there some other Utility that I might try? I'm not a Mac guy, but a PC system builder.

Thanks!
