I have a similar problem wherein "SuperDuper! cannot find target volume "(null)". I have, to date, used it twice to backup my hard drive (once a week) and had not seen this error before. Additionally, and the most frustrating, clicking on "Cancel" does nothing. What makes it worse is that apparently, this interfered with my scheduled backup.
Without being able to cancel the pop-up and select the "different" drive (which is the same drive I've used since installing SD!), I am not sure what to do.
