A while back I set up one of my G5s with multiple partitions, which turns out not to be a great idea with osx.
how can I best use superduper to merge them.
My backups are on network drives
if I
- back up each of the partitions
- erase the drive and make it 1 partition
- boot up by CD and use disk utility to copy the back up image to the newly emptied HD
- mount the other backup images
- then drag and drop the other backups into folders
does that work?
what will I lose?
Is there a better way?
