Sorry, you posted at 1:22AM local time, and then again at 4:39AM -- gotta sleep sometime!

You can do that, but you need to partition the destination drive into two volumes, one for your backup and one for your video. See "Storing a backup alongside other files on a destination drive" in the User's Guide.
