New to Super Duper - Please Help!!

Here is what I am trying to do. Maybe someone can help . . .

I am going to switch out the HD on my Macbook. I have everything already backed up on a 500gb TC. I am running the current version of Leopard and I want to be able to boot it from an external drive, then move all of my files from TC to the newly installed HD.

Sounds easy, but the only external HD I have is a 30Gb usb drive and I don't want to buy another larger usb or firewire drive.

Is there a way to use Super Duper to copy ONLY the files to boot Leopard so it will fit on the 30 Gb? Then finish the transfer using Time Machine?

Thank you in advance.
